About Me
Brigitte Tabaroki
(she/her)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA #143384)
Hi, I’m Brigitte!
My passion is helping children and teens navigate the challenges of growing up — from managing emotions and building self-esteem to coping with family changes, facing school pressures, and overcoming social struggles. Every client deserves a safe space where they can express themselves authentically, feel seen and heard, and experience growth. I am committed to creating a trusting, judgment-free environment and fostering a strong, empathetic connection with my clients.
Collaboration is central to my work. I believe it takes a village to raise a confident, thriving child. Parents, caregivers, teachers, and other key figures in a child’s life are active partners in the therapeutic process. Together, we will support your child in developing a strong sense of self and equip you with tools to nurture their unique needs. The skills worked on in therapy are meant to be practiced and applied in real-life settings — at home, school, and beyond.
I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Strengths-Based approaches, to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate meaningful, lasting change. I also incorporate interactive and creative methods — such as art, music, and play therapy techniques — to make sessions both enjoyable and impactful.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors — walks on the beach, picnics in the park, hikes, and watching the sunset — with my friends and family. Music also plays a big role in my life; I love attending concerts, exploring new artists, and diving into different genres!

Clinical Experience
The Village Family Services, Los Angeles
I worked at The Village Family Services as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT). My caseload primarily consisted of foster children and teens with a history of involvement with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). During my time there, I gained valuable experience collaborating with social workers, attorneys, case managers, behavioral specialists, and parent partners to address the diverse needs of each client.
Partnerships to Uplift Communities, Los Angeles
I completed my traineeship as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC), a non-profit charter school organization. At PUC, I provided individual, collateral, and family therapy to elementary-aged clients and their families. I also received training in sand tray, music, and art therapy techniques to promote creative expression in the therapy room.
